Kartechnic was founded in 2006 by Andy Slater & Kevin Orchard who between them have worked in prestige service departments for Mercedes VAG and BMW for over 30 years. They met whilst working for a local BMW dealer, and soon realised that they shared a common feeling that owners of prestige cars were becoming increasingly disillusioned with the high prices and impersonal service that have become synonymous with many main dealers.

But they were also very aware that in order for customers to entrust Kartechnic with their prestige cars they would need to know their vehicles were in capable hands, with this in mind in August 2007 Kartechnic became part of the Bosch car service network (Bosch is one of the world's largest motor vehicle component manufactures with products ranging from ABS braking and Engine Management systems to wiper blades). As part of the Bosch Car Service program Kartechnic has had to undergo a full independent audit of its working practices, and operates to a strict code of practice. In addition to this Bosch Car Service is first network of vehicle repairers in the UK to be awarded Office of Fair Trade approval.

As Bosch service agents Kartechnic has access to full technical support on most vehicle systems. Our workshop is equipped with the state of the art diagnostic equipment and our technicians are able to keep abreast of latest developments in motor vehicle technology with ongoing training at Bosch headquarters in Denham.
